Jindivick Wildlife Care: What a storm!!
http://highonawindyhill.blogspot.com/2010/12/what-storm.html
Life with wildlife - from high on a windy hill! Wednesday, December 8, 2010. We have had a very busy afternoon dealing with the aftermath of the deluge that we had today. We were called to this little Corella who had fallen from his nest and wasn't quite able to fly yet. He is not far off flying and his parents were still circling overhead and calling (screeching) to their baby. We hoisted him up in the tree in his little makeshift nest and hopefully his parents will come and feed him - fingers crossed.

Life with wildlife - from high on a windy hill! Sunday, January 25, 2009. Monarch caterpillar to Monarch butterfly - how it all happens! If you ever get to witness this - it will be one of the most incredible things you have seen. The Monarch butterfly, after mating, lays pin prick size eggs on the underside of the leaves of a swan plant. The eggs hatch and a very tiny caterpillar emerges. (this one is about 1cm). This one is about 3cm long). It proceeds to eat and eat and eat through the leaves. We rele...

Jindivick Wildlife Care: Awesome sponsors
http://highonawindyhill.blogspot.com/2010/11/awesome-sponsors.html
Life with wildlife - from high on a windy hill! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. From time to time I come across the most generous people. At the start of this year I began having lunch at The French Pear Cafe. In Drouin every couple of weeks. Often, I had tiny wombats with me who needed feeding. It is sometimes hard to feed slurping, sucking baby animals without being noticed! Jaime, who owns The French Pear fell in love with one of those babies. Charlotte came to us as a tiny baby straight from her Mums pouch.
