Why do I remember my camera as I only bake and forget it when I cook other things.I've no clue. 200 gram butter, room temperature. 1 cup caster sugar. Four eggs, room temperature. 1 tbs freshly grated orange peel. 1 tbs freshly grated lime peel. 1 cup milk, room temperature. 4 tbs lime juice. 2 cups self-raising flour (sifted with 1/4 tsp baking powder). Add lime juice, orange and lime peel.

Broccoli has never been that kind of vegetable we have always or even see in markets, but thanks to globalisation and the world being a small village we know it, cook it, and love it :). Broccoli soup (slightly adapted from here. 250 gm fresh broccoli chopped. 3 garlic gloves, minced. 1 medium onion, diced. 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder. 1/4 cup flour (mix it with the milk). 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded. Add the mashed garlic and cook for two minutes.

Tuesday, 30 August 2011. Cheese Cookies-And Happy Eid. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. Cheese cake cookies (adapted from somewhere):. 400 gram salted butter, softened. 4 1/2 cups flour (I remember the original recipe called for 3 1/2). 1 cup cream cheese. 2 tsp baking powder (mixed with the flour). Beat butter, sugar and cheese till mixed well, add eggs one at a time and then add vanilla. Add flour and continue mixing at low speed. The dough will be soft, so you can cover it and refrigerate it for around one hour.

Fish of your choice, cleaned, cut into big pieces (around 1 kg). 8 garlic gloves, mashed. 1 tbs mashed ginger. 1 tsp turmeric powder. Salt/ pepper/ red/spicy chilly (to your taste). One onion, cut into thin pieces. Mix the marinade, marinate the fish an hour before baking. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (the upper heat Only. Bake your fish, turn it after 15 minutes. Bake for half an hour.

Friday, 1 July 2011. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. This is our family (forever) favourite cake recipe. You just have to become addicted to it, as long as you love dates. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 200 gram butter, room temperature. 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed. 4 medium eggs, room temperature. 1 cup dates, chopped and pitted (I use dates that are sold ready for baking). 3 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda. 1/2 cup almond, peeled and chopped. 1/2 cup walnut, chopped. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

An eggless pancake recipe which sure you'll share my love for it 3. 1 cup all purpose flour. 1 1/4 cups milk. 2 tbs oil/or butter. 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (optional). 1 full tsp baking powder. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients alone. Add wet ingredients, and mix till just combined. Warm your pan, add your batter and let it cook for few minutes, keep checking it.
