October 26, 2012. We have a cute little pumpkin patch down the road from us. It's perfect for kids Kara's age. They have a corn pit, hay mazes and hay stacks, animals, and a tractor ride. We've gone a few times and Kara has thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Oh how I love Fall. Queen of the hay pile! She's not mad, just trying to say "cheese" a little unsuccessfully. Saturday, August 23, 2014. Lexi's turning 12. Her birthday falls on Labor Day this year and so she wanted her party a little early! She planned it all by herself and she knew exactly what she wanted. A fire pit for roasting s'mores, an outdoor movie, lots of food and a couple games. Her plans were great but the weather did not cooperate. Saturday, April 5, 2014. I really shouldn't fly. When we landed in Dallas Texas, I found my gate and then walked around to try to find something to eat. Unfortunately, all the food places in the terminal were already closed. Boo! We landed in Salt Lake City at 2:00 am. and when the front doors opened I about fell over! It was really cold! Wednesday, December 10, 2014. I love to see the Temple. What a wonderful week. Eric and I also had the privilege of going with Alexis to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple the Saturday after she turned 12. She researched her own family names and was able to take those names with her. It was such a beautiful experience being there with her and Eric. We are so proud of the young lady that she is! September 17, 2013. We were able to go to Hawaii with Trevor's family this past August and is was. They have a time share for house on the beach (. We were out in the water by 8:30 most mornings. Can it get any better than that? Turtle Bay to see the turtles, of course. Shave ice (We tried 3 different places and Matsumoto's is definitely the best). Ingesting lots of tropical fruit and juices. Bobbing in the ocean (one of my favorite things to do). Long walks on the beach. And a little more of Kylee crying.

I think we eventually learned our lesson and turned in before we were exhausted so it made for an easier time getting to the dock. I have no idea what happened, but that doesn't matter anymore because I now have my laptop back and I have so many things to write about. Saturday, April 19, 2014. So I got this great idea that I wanted to give the guest bathroom a little face lift. The baseboards looked like they had been to a war of moisture and the walls were too bare. I thought this would be a super easy fix, we could switch out the baseboards to match the rest of the upstairs, paint the walls and put a frame around the mirror. Sounds simple enough right?
