January 31, 2016. San Marcos now has its very own Celtic Festival. We'll be playing a set at 3:00, but George is also playing with O'Malarkey at noon and 5:00, so come spend the day with us. The venue is the San Marcos Activity Center. February 12, 2009. Lisa is in Hawaii, George will be on his way to Japan to visit his son later in the month. But come see us on February 21 at Fiddler's Hearth. January 9, 2009. Two new shows added in January at our new favorite place, Fiddler's Hearth. December 1, 2008.

Originally formed in late 2006 by Lisa Alexander, George Traugott, and Vanessa Webb, the group hit its stride with the 2007 addition of Bob Guz on ukulele. They quickly became regulars on the Bastrop and Austin music scene, playing to great local acclaim. Although Bob and Vanessa have both moved on to other things, Derek Smootz joined the group in 2014, adding killer Irish flute and pipes to the mix. Expect the unexpected: Irish tunes, torch songs, cowboy songs, and anything else that strikes their fancy.

On Friday, the 29th of May, we found out that we're having a girl! Whimsy is doing beautifully- she's been getting glowing reports at the doctor's office, and the pregnancy has not been too difficult for her thus far.
