Days with the Jensens. The Life and Times of the Jensen Family. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Rane, on the other hand, enjoyed pushing around one of the carved pumpkins as if it were a ball, carrying around the spoons, sticking the spoons in the pumpkins and saying, " Uh-oh, UH-OH! He kept saying the pumpkins were dirty and gross and would follow that up with, "No touch," but would immediately have his hands all over the pumpkins! We had a blast! Playing in the water coming out of the drainpipe! Saturday w...

The Simms Family: State Fair
http://simmsfamilylatest.blogspot.com/2010/10/state-fair.html
Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Over the past month not only was Steven in school but he was also having to work 7 days a week on one of his projects at the fair grounds in Perry GA. Nightmare! And that he was awesome at his job! The fair was a lot of fun, but such a culture shock for the English side of me! Case example number 1:. Fair food: aka a mound of grease with no nutrition whatsoever, and ridiculously expensive! A chair lift without snow makes absolutely no sense to me but hey ho! We had an absolute ...

Sunday, August 15, 2010. And the fun begins. So, yesterday was a full day of MBA orientation at Emory. My three weeks of freedom before starting classes in September disappeared somewhere between 1 and 2 pm. There are events, classes and 'pre-classes' (who ever heard of such a thing? For the next two weeks. Until May 2011 Hannah and I will both be in classes. We apologize in advance if we do not see you for the next year. Sorry! Posted by Steven and Hannah. 8220;Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re”. Archive for February, 2011. Adventures in the Park with Lala. February 20, 2011. Lala was brave enough to take all three of us to the park. Kelly and Wyatt are our next door neighbors and my best friends. We had picnic in the gardens. Even Lucy got to come. We love to visit the koi fish pond. Kelly loves it so much that he left the playground and went without us while we weren’t looking. We found him pretty quickly, but Lala almost had a heart attack. Mommy and Dad...

8220;Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re”. Archive for November, 2010. November 30, 2010. Thanksgiving this year was long anticipated by Susannah. It was the first time we had to tell her every day for a week that this was not the day we were going to see Mee-Maw and Paw Paw. She eventually started saying, “Go see Mee-Maw Paw-Paw? No…not this week.”. When we finally arrived she was super excited. Having your very own playground for five days is definitely Susannah’s idea of a good time. November 22, 2010.

8220;Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re”. Archive for December, 2010. December 30, 2010. When we arrived home from our Christmas travels a stack of mail was there to greet us. What fun! I’m so glad not everyone has given up the Christmas card tradition. Do you still send Christmas cards? I love the tradition of sending family photos and update letters. Thank you to everyone who sent us a card. We truly loved hearing from you and seeing your faces this Christmas. Christmas with MeeMaw and PawPaw. It is so m...

Days with the Jensens: June 2011
http://jensendays.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Days with the Jensens. The Life and Times of the Jensen Family. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Since Pierson was born on December 31st she doesn't exactly have a marker for each month so June 30th is her half birthday. The last 6 months have absolutely flown by and I cannot believe our 3rd child is already halfway to her first birthday! So here are Sweet P's updates at 6 months of age:. She goes down at 7 pm and sleeps until I wake her up, which is between 7-7:30 am. She cannot sit unassisted yet, but she is c...
