Sunday, March 14, 2010. One Year Old (Part II). The night before his party (on his actual birthday) we let him open a few gifts. This video shows Deacon opening his very first birthday present which turned out to be his favorite. Believe it or not, Deacon loves Spongebob Squarepants (who he lovingly calls "Bum-Bob"). Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Horseshoe Bay at Lake LBJ! This past weekend Josh's parents took our family and Russ and Sarah to Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. We stayed at the Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort. Other than Disneyland, it might be my favorite vacation spot. It's sooo nice, and we really appreciated this trip! I'm the worst at remembering to take pictures, but I tried to get at least a few during the trip. We can't wait to go back! It was a super fun night though. :). With these two pictures combined.

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Our 5th wedding anniversary was actually last month, but I am the worst blogger ever. That's why it's just now getting blogged about. I wish I could be one of those devoted bloggers, but I'm just not. At least not yet. I'm working on it though! Thanks again to Sarah and Russ for taking care of our little man. In line for our riverboat tour. Couldn't remember the last time we went to the pool without our little one to look after.it was oh so nice for our little anniversary trip.

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Going back.way back.like last year back. Ok, so my last post was October 2011 and since 2012 is almost halfway over, I thought I'd take some time and catch up. This way my big family can see some pictures of the boys, and see how much they've grown! First, let me just say that November of last year I started potty-training Deacon. Friday, December 24, 2010. Earlier this month Josh's brother and sister-in-law (Jake and Shannon) blessed their baby boy, Landon, in southern California. We were fortunate enough to go with Josh's parents, and we're so grateful we got to be there with them on that special day. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Memorial Day 2012 at Port Aransas. For Memorial Day weekend Josh and I took the kids and met up with Russ and Sarah down at the beach here in Texas. Now, being a Carolina girl I come from a land where the beach is second to none. I had pretty low expectations for the Texas beach, but we ended up having so much fun! I'll always miss NC beaches, but a girl's gotta take what she can get! We went on a walk one morning when the kids woke up incredibly early, hence my just-woke-up face.
