After we started our trekking company (www.Sherpaland.com) in 2005 and settled permanently in Boudha, Kathmandu since 2007, we took a next big step and opened The Valley Guesthouse in June 2008. The Rooms are new and light, modern decorated but of course with Nepali details. The rooms on the. Th and 3rd floor have beautiful views. All the rooms have solar light facilities during the power cuts and the bathrooms have hot water also heated by solar. We have triple-, double- and single-rooms with attached bathroom, with or without balcony. For long stay-ers there is a possibility to use a common kitchen. Double room with balcony. Twins bedroom with balcony. All rooms have attached bathrooms.

Wij zijn Lobsang Sherpa and Martine Kok. Lobsang is opgegroeid in de uitlopers van het Solo Khumbu gebied en begeleidt als (gecertificeerd) gids al vele jaren trektochten in de Nepaleese Himalaya. Voor Martine zijn de Nepaleese bergen sinds jaren een grote passie. In Nederland heeft ze haar sporen verdiend in het (sport) management.
