http://itsashabbything.blogspot.com/2012/07/out-with-old-in-with-older.html
Sunday, July 1, 2012. Out with the old, in with the OLDER! The charms of a rental house. . . When we found a rental house that worked for us I had 2 stipulations. I needed to get the brown paint that was on the walls and ceilings painted over, and I HAD to replace the brass light fixtures with my own lights. So the brass lights are now in the attic and I had to find a great light for the foyer, without spending too much. I call her crystal and she is a great focal point to the entry of our home! Sunday, October 10, 2010. I Ah"door" this project! I got my room almost done and I have the perfect spot for some bookshelves. But honestly I do not have $350 for some nice shelves, so with one of my great doors from my salvage excursion. And some salvaged wood from old furniture I have had the inspiration to make some bookshelves out of it! Yes, a big project, but with proper planning I think I can pull this off for next to nothing. It will take resourcefulness, time, and a good plan. So here we go!

http://itsashabbything.blogspot.com/2008/11/great-spring-things.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. And here in the desert spring comes a little sooner than for the rest of the country. I take full advantage of that and can't wait to get my spring decor out! Awhile back I found this cute wall hanging at Scrapbook Destination's Blog. My friend Diannah duplicated the idea and made this cute and similar hanging. She just cut out her own cone with some 1/2" MDF and used her Cricut for the lettering. You can go to Scrapbook Destination's Blog by clicking here. I painted the flower...

Friday, August 14, 2009. Ode to Hobby Lobby! Yes I am aware that I appear to be a little too excited in this picture, but I REALLY love Hobby Lobby! And I got a great deal on these drawer knobs! I love Hobby Lobby! It is a little bit sentimental because they gave me my first job when I was 15 and thus released a beast of creativity! So I hope you find some inspiration as well. Here is a fun little inspiration that they have on their website for fall! To see their great fall ideas. View my complete profile.

Friday, September 26, 2008. New addition to the family! Wednesday morning Zoe and Zeb are off to school, so Hattie and I head out to my friend Joe's. We get out of the car and Joe comes over with "something" for Hattie. A mouse he caught in the barn! You would THINK that Hattie would not get near it! She is the one that cries if you kill a spider, or screams at you if you squish any kind of bug because they are her friends. "Mommy, can I keep it? Joe says he caught it just for her! Well he is kinda cute!
