Toes in the sand. Hoe ver moeten we rijden? Hoe ver moeten we rijden? 4 Dec, 2015. Hier op Curacao is mijn instelling totaal veranderd. 25 minuten met de auto naar mijn werk en voor. Turnen rijd ik wekelijks maar liefst 40 minuten heen en 40 minuten terug. Ik draai mijn hand er niet voor om. Bijles. In Rooi Katooje, naar een vriendinnetje in Jan Sofat en door naar de sportschool bij het Hilton. De auto rijdt gelukkig op water. Een mens maakt hier een ongelofelijk aantal kilometers. Vanmorgen stapte ik mijn klas in: 6 muggen! O-ver-al zitten die krengen. Ik spray, zap en ontvlucht die beesten op alle mogelijke manieren om dát ene te voorkomen. Toes in the sand. 26 Dec, 2015. In Eten and Drinken. Goeie treats. Zo heb ik vanmiddag heerlijk alleen bij Coffeeshop Curacao gezeten. Eindelijk hebben we een koffietentje waar niet het hele eiland inclusief toeristen frappuchino komt kopen, maar een koffietentje zoals hij bedoeld is. Om een boek te lezen, te bloggen of gewoon uren te kletsen met een vriendinnetje. Dit is een heerlijke bezigheid voor op het strand, naar zo’n koffietentje is voor de afwisseling fantastisch.
