2 Blondes, 1 Redhead and a Reviewer. I’ve got contest entries to finish judging for FRW’s annual contest, a short story to write, a book to edit for a client and two books of my own to get wrapped up. But if I start to feel too overwhelmed, remembering the waves helps calm me down. Makes me think, even if I’m totally deluding myself, that I got a handle on this crazy ride called life. How do you handle too much at once? Posted by Traci Hall in Uncategorized. Newer Entry →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

2 Blondes, 1 Redhead and a Reviewer. If you could have a whack at balancing the government budget, where would you cut first? How convenient that this is the week’s topic with the Babes, considering the House and Senate are still sitting on their asses and not working out the budget that forced the shut down. Family Team building offices are closed, and this is a little social but mostly offering services like counseling, help with wills, deployments, babies, anything the family’s needs. The doors ar...

When they met the road, neighboring clansmen were already running to the Christian haven, brandishing javelins and swords. She had to reach the bishop first. She did not stop when the people parted their bands for her and rode harder, faster. ‘Twas her only chance to save one of her people, and the bishop from the angry mob. Be gone, woman!

2 Blondes, 1 Redhead and a Reviewer. Superstitions are ripe…. Everyone’s beliefs are their own but just keeping track of my superstitions for a couple of days made me realize that yes, I am superstitious. Shoulder into a fire with the left. Hand Yes, I do it just never that specific. One of my superstitions is I have never lit a cigarette off of a candle. To do so is bad luck. I heard that when I was in my twenties. I also don’t blow out candles, but clap them out. That came from my study...When I sweep ...

What’s your music memory? | BabesinBookland

2 Blondes, 1 Redhead and a Reviewer. What’s your music memory? Our music tastes coincide with moments of maturity. They mark our lives early when we don’t really know who we are inside. At least it did for me. Music is wrapped in the freedom that one year– from seventeen to eighteen– marks. I was enjoying the heck out of life then. I’m not slamming anyone’s taste. Few songs made sense in my era too. Remember Whoopi Goldberg’s character in Jumping Jack Flash? No one cared. We remember what was playing...

I’m a writer – I get mostly decent reviews, my editors haven’t ever threatened to cut me off at the keyboard, and I have an amazing group of writer friends who all tell me I know my craft. Metrical Accent : The accent called for by the rhythm pattern in poetry. I knew this one! Spuria: Collective plural for such spurious items as forgeries and fakes. This was just a...
