July 31, 2010. Dc - yep, washington! I got to meet my mom and sister-in-law, rachel, in washington dc! We went for a covenant women's conference. Is held in a different city every three years. We chose the "dc at night" excursion. a bus took us around the city for a few hours. it's a beautiful, very busy city. It's gorgeous. with so much to see and do. We entered the park through downtown disney and then took the monorail to disneyland. it was so fun to remember doing it myself growing up and then to see natalie now taking it all in. Mama, nat and baby! Cinderella's castle behind us. Fortunately we were prepared with ponchos, umbrellas and extra clothes. One of my favorite rides, matterhorn! Too bad i couldn't ride this trip. April 17, 2011. Susie threw me the cutest baby shower! I love the owl theme. And don't the cupcakes look professional? Quite the spread and it was ALL delicious! I had several of these. June 29, 2010. Step one: buy capsules from dollar store. Step two: drop in water and give them a hug! Step three: say "cheers" while you wait patiently for them to grow! Step four: have mom read the directions and use HOT water! But not steps two or three since glasses will be too hot. Step five: watch your transportation shapes grow! There were 12 capsules. Natalie put one in glass 1,. Three in glass 2. And eight in glass 3! Step six: carefully scoop them out of the hot water onto a towel. June 26, 2010.

April 10, 2011. 10 on 10 : April 2011. Umso i totally bombed my ten on ten. I saw it was coming up. Saw i had fun stuff on my calendar. Was excited for my pictures. Of which i ended up taking. We had breakfast with chicago friends at hazel's. I had hippie pancakes which were granola-filled and topped with fresh fruit. the place was a-mazing! Everyone loved their food and licked their plates clean. we are totally going back. Went in a darling fabric shop. Got showered and ready for my. Put nat to bed.

February 18, 2011. Natalie's bedtime is 8:00 so we start the routine early in the 7:00 hour. sometimes it's as early as 6:00, when we've finished dinner. regardless, she loves to play when she should be sleeping. and she plays so well of course! I wish she'd play in her room, alone during the day! She reads to her babies. she crafts. she puts cd's on and sings. notice she moved the cd player to the edge of the bed. hazard! February 17, 2011. April 17, 2011. Kids stalling at bedtime.i know it's everywhere. here she is saying she can't put on her jammies. that "the holes aren't in the right places.".
