The kisilyakh are giant stone pillars up to 40 metres tall that protrude bizarrely from hill tops at several locations in Yakutia, including Verkhoyanskiy District, Oymyakonskiy District, Nizhnekolymskiy District and the New Siberian Islands in the Arctic Ocean.
