Learning to love my new life as a Stay at a Home Mom. Monday, January 2, 2017. Trunk or Treat: A Star Wars Halloween. In previous years, I began preparing things weeks in advance. This year I was totally overwhelmed with work, report cards, and upcoming parent teacher conferences. We threw everything together in under 48 hours, thanks to Amazon same-day delivery and blog tutorials. My costume (aka hat and tank top) was taken from this DIY BB-8 costume tutorial. It was another great trunk-or-treat event!

I grew up thinking Easter meant egg hunts, the Easter bunny, and of course, the homemade baskets my mom made, filled with candy and small toys. And most of all, Easter meant the beginning of spring, which is great news when you live in upstate NY. First, we did a little clue hunt at my house. He LOVED this. And some small toys. The Easter Bunny hid 63 eggs in the yard!
