dining out: the pomegranate – Twenty-Something in Toronto
http://twentysomethingintoronto.com/2015/08/dining-out-the-pomegranate
Dining out: the pomegranate. I mentioned that the Lovely Lindsey is eating her way through Toronto, and occassionally, I get to try out new restaurants on her journey. A few weeks ago, a few bloggers headed to The Pomegranate on College, near Bathurst for Persian food. I’ve never really had Persian food, and I’ve definitely never been to a Persian restaurant. As always, I checked the menu before going and was excited. Have you tried The Pomegranate? What did you think? You Also Might Like.

Category: monday link love. Categories: monday link love. I almost forgot to post a monday link love this week because I forgot it was Monday… long weekends are confusing. Here’s a few things to read this (short) week. A lot of people I know seem to be canoeing the islands and Casey over at Waffling Blog did it and shared it and it makes me want to do it. Get inspired to explore with her post. For lunch time at the office, thanks FitSugar! It’s on August 22nd, a day before this other super fun event.

Detox to retox: lansdowne brewery. So last weekend, we visited Lansdowne Brewery for the first time for Detox to Retox. And it was great. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, most people walked right past it as they were coming to yoga, you wouldn’t necessarily suspect that you could get great beer in this space. But you would be mistaken! It was another awesome event, in fact, I did yoga last night without having a beer afterwards and it just wasn’t the same! Thirsty thursday: waterloo blueberry weizenbier.

The Cupcake Shoppe Toronto Visit
http://www.glamdiaries.com/the-cupcake-shoppe-toronto
Policy & Disclaimer. The Cupcake Shoppe Toronto Visit. September 9, 2014. In Canadian Beauty blogger. I’ve wanted to visit The Cupcake Shoppe in Toronto for over a year now but never did because I was busy, didn’t know how to find it (reviews online said it was hidden away in some corner and wasn’t easy to locate) and because a lot of the reviews online said their cupcakes were dry and bad and worse than ‘grocery store’ cupcakes. How were the cupcakes? I had the flavours Triple Chocolate and Cookie Dough.

Thursday, February 25, 2016. Geocaching on The Islands! I had originally looked up a good cache on the Geocaching website. And downloaded some compass and GPS maps to help us find it. For the record, we set out to try and find " Around Toronto- Escape. Cam and I walked to the Ferry terminal and took the ferry across to the island. Monday, June 27, 2016. On Saturday I finished my 6th (? 10K with the amazing Lindsey. And her friend Melissa), Michelle. It was Lindsey and Melissa's first 10K race too! We decided to all run the new Toronto Waterfront 10K race. Months ago and it was very exciting running a race with a bunch of friends. Though, it was also brutally hot on Saturday too- who decided to put a 10K in late June? The race started downtown around 7:45am so we all met up at 7:00am full of excitement! My overall time was 55:07!

I have found I can also give solid advice to clients who are retired, collecting Social Security and a pension and have some investments. I will meet with clients between 30 and 65, but may decline to offer a plan if I do not have confidence that I can offer a sound plan. There will be no charge for that meeting. My company is not in business to offer tweaks to a good plan for a fee. It is a good doublecheck of existing plans. Payment by check due at time of last meeting.
