The Inartistic Bride: Another Wedding Blog!: Holy Sticker Shock!
http://theinartisticbride.blogspot.com/2008/11/holy-sticker-shock.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2008. About my centerpiece ideas yesterday, I got excited and started to do some pricing research on the green cymbidium orchids I envisioned using. Well, I was shocked…shocked, I tell you. At about $15-$25 a stem, they were too pricy for me. According to the pictures I posted yesterday, I would need at least 2 stems per centerpiece (each stem has 6 blooms) depending on the size of the vase. 19 tables x $15 a stem x 2 stems per table = $570 = too much for me. I was extremely conce...

The Inartistic Bride: Another Wedding Blog!: Shhh...Can you keep a secret?
http://theinartisticbride.blogspot.com/2009/07/shhhcan-you-keep-secret.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. ShhhCan you keep a secret? As I previously mentioned, I used latex flowers.and I am SOOOO very happy that I did! The results were beautiful, as you can see below. Plus, they were stress free: my family and I arranged all them one afternoon; we delivered them to the reception venue a few days before the wedding and on the day of the wedding, my family simply poured some water in the vases and set some candles around.VIOLA! BCD has great selection, it's almost too many choices, and the best prices I could find. Plus, they are super reliable. 9 different designs=9 different setup expenses. TIME: Just a few hours, could probably be done in one night. DIFFICULTY: Not too bad, the worst part was coming up with the different sayings.

Short Story Long: Insanity Part 2--- Keeping Organized
http://ashortstorylong.blogspot.com/2009/07/insanity-part-2-keeping-organized.html
Does anyone else think it is silly that a text box (such as this one) that can only have 500 characters max would let you enter more than 500 characters and then when you go to save your very insightful and interesting and not at all stupid description it gives you that warning that you exceeded the limit? Why doesn't it just stop you from entering the 501st character? These are the kind of things a short story long teller worries about. Thursday, 23 July 2009. Insanity Part 2- - Keeping Organized. Cupcakes for spite and tales of my baking glory. Baking adventures and mishaps of genius. Saturday, October 13, 2007. Cake for Spite. Literally! I know, I know, I have been a very neglectful blogger. I assure you it is not for lack for baking. On the contrary, I have been baking more then ever on a very special project for the one and only Betty Spite. Everyone at Jillian's birthday party were like "oh this cake is so good" and "lauren did you really make this? I'm pretty sure they were just drunk. D...

http://cheesewax.blogspot.com/2009/12/next-generation.html
Allison's Realm of the Cheese Wax People. It all started with a piece of cheese. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking to a group of 6 students who competed in a Market Basket Scholarship Competition, just like the one from this entry. Cheese wax people, like Iron Toque bones, are my way of saying 'Thanks for being a Rock Star.' By taking a chance and participating in the competition, these contestants are definitely Rock Stars in my book. Congrats guys! Next up, Christmas Che...

cupcakes for spite and tales of my baking glory: August 2007
http://bakingglory.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Cupcakes for spite and tales of my baking glory. Baking adventures and mishaps of genius. Monday, August 13, 2007. My family was a north shore family. My Nana would rent a summer house in Gloucester and sun herself all summer long as my grandfather would commute in and out of Boston for work. When my mom was old enough, she too rented a house up that way. I grew up driving up to Long Beach from my hometown in Connecticut and staying overnight in the big red Cape Ann Motor Inn. If you scroll down a bit.

Into This Life: December 2008
http://www.intothislife.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Creating My Life, One Day At A Time. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. The secret can change your life. This blog will go back and forth. Past and present. Depression and recovery. Step back and step forward. Just like life. I misplaced my copy of The Secret when I moved last year. I recently ordered a new one. Boyfriend/fiance (a story in itself) was hesitant to watch it I thought. This past weekend I looked at him and said "Can you please go get that movie I bought for us? He said "Are we going to watch it?
