It must go via the blood to be classified as part of the endocrine system. Exocrine secretion occurs when the cells releases chemicals in the internal environment, into other bodily cavities, e.g. Digestive enzymes from the pancreas into the stomach. These are released via ducts and they do not enter the blood stream.

Bladder wash out equipment:. Bottle of NaCl (saline solution). Sick bowl (for the waste). When the irrigation system is ready to be removed, it is called spigot-ed.
