Blue Lagoon | Priscilla Crochets

Crochet, knitting, and other crafty things. September 22, 2014. This shawl uses the gorgeous variegated Malabrigo Rios. Agua) to make pinwheel-like motifs, joined in a trapezoidal shape. Contrary to the original pattern, I used a G hook instead of a I hook. Must have been feeling extra relaxed (or something) when I made this! I also made another one of these for my mom using Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Aran. The pinwheel shapes really give this shawl a unique look and shape! Published in Seamless Crochet.

Crochet, knitting, and other crafty things. Daily Archives: October 3, 2014. October 3, 2014. We’re still on the last legs of summer here in AZ.). The base crochet chain becomes the foundation for the bottom of the bag. You crochet, in a spiral, single crochets into both sides of the base crochet chain. The pattern is so simple and is great as a hefty beginner project, if you’re looking for something to teach your kids, your friends, etc. It’s literally. I always wanted to try felting, and mess up wool.

Anisette Wrap | Priscilla Crochets
https://priscillacrochets.wordpress.com/2014/11/08/anisette-wrap
Crochet, knitting, and other crafty things. November 8, 2014. I love working with laceweight yarns and projects. I like the suspense of not. Being able to see the final pattern until it’s mostly completed. It’s like a surprise! This wrap also happens to be my first foray back into knitting after almost a 7 year hiatus (the last time being sometime in college). It took me 4 hours. To knit the first 5 – 10 rows, plus re-orienting (more like re-learn. Any thoughts about this? Lastly, I find it. I do realize...

Driftwood | Priscilla Crochets

Crochet, knitting, and other crafty things. January 22, 2015. Nice and LONG shawl way too big to fit on my blocking mat…. What a fun crochet project! The gazillion chains make it quick too. 🙂 I opted for a cotton/bamboo blend to deal with the hot weather here in Arizona, but honestly, the wrap’s design is so open that it probably wouldn’t matter whether cotton was used. It went to a very petite friend of mine, so hoping the oversized look is going to swing in her favor here. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I made another Corner-to-Corner blanket, this time in greens. The greens look more blue in the photos, but trust me, it is green! Can’t take a photo around here without the cats getting involved. This one is called Jacob’s Ladder Afghan. With these colors it looks a bit western/Native American to me. This goes to Horses’ Honor. As a raffle item for our big annual Tack Sale in November. It turned out quite large; I had to take it outside to get a full photo of it. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. July 19, 2015. Viola Mandala →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Mandalas | The Crochet Dabbler
https://crochetdabbler.wordpress.com/2015/07/29/mandalas
I’ve been on a mandala spree lately. At the end of June, the crochet world learned of the death of Wink (Marinke), the blogger at A Creative Being. Below are four I’ve done and have put on a very blank wall in my office to brighten it up. Two, as you will notice, are square rather than round, but still fit the definition as above. This one is the Lise square. Below, Wink’s Spoke Mandala. This is the Triple Puff. The grouping on my office wall:. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. July 29, 2015. Sheru...
