Jean Georges…. | The List

Adventures in Eating and Cooking in NYC. Laquo; What is the list? September 30, 2008 by listgirl. Jean Georgesso much hype, so much anticipation. Did the restaurant live up to my expectations? I wish that I could say yes. Lastly, our waiter was too uptight. I am not looking for a stand-up comedy act in the midst of a fine-dining experience, but I do want a waiter who can adapt his service to the personalities of each diner. We are a young(ish), fun-loving couple go with it. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

April 21, 2009 by listgirl. Before heading to Shake Shack we enjoyed pomegranate margaritas at our (soon to be former) apartment. This is my specialty drink courtesy of my sister-in-law, who used to bartend at The Spanish Kitchen in LA. Here is the recipe:. 6 counts of tequila. 3 counts of POM pomegranate juice. It’s as easy as that.

First, while I used to add new posts almost daily (see November 2008. I am now lucky to post once a week. Second, as a result of my sporadic postings (or maybe it was when I stopped lugging my camera to dinner), my audience has dwindled and Marjorie might be my only reader now. Thank you, Marjorie. Once we were seated, my initial r...

Adventures in Eating and Cooking in NYC. Laquo; Dessert Truck delight. I heart Ina Garten, too. I heart the little owl. October 13, 2008 by listgirl. I wanted to take advantage of a quiet Columbus Day to post my thoughts on our dinner at the Little Owl earlier this month. Dinner was a completely delightful affair. My friend, Shannon, who has been to many of NY’s fine restaurants on her various visits to the city, proclaimed the Little Owl her favorite NYC dining experience, which thrilled me to no end.
