April 25, 2015. So, those of you who have known me for a few years may have heard of some original graphic novels that I've been working on in the background. Shaman Child was one of the stories; the other is something more mature, more serious. I've spent a lot of time honing the story and getting into the character's heads; it just hadn't felt "right" and "finished", until recently. And I've finally started drawing the pages! So have a look at some parts of the first chapter- no spoilers, guaranteed ;).

July 4, 2014. Convention sketches, and upcoming CHEW special. As always, Heroes Con was an exhausting but fantastic show. Thanks to everyone who dropped by and asked for a commission! But before any more convention stuff, here's a piece I just finished for the upcoming Warrior Chicken Poyo special (for CHEW, published by Image), that should be out for Comic Con. I've realized that since I work digitally so much nowadays, for both freelance and for my day job, I don't draw with traditional media much anymore. June 26, 2015. And one more Heroes Con is now wrapped up! Did I mention that I drove to Heroes this year? Heroes is in Charlotte, North Carolina. I love in Austin, Texas right now. (The reason is I looked for flights too late so I couldn't afford to fly.) Eyup. That was an 18 HOUR DRIVE. Fun! Here's a map of our little road trip. Damn this country is huge. Anywho. January 15, 2015. Podcast feature, and trip to Japan/ Taiwan. It's been a while again. Apologies for the silence. The new job in Austin has kept me quite busy; I've been doing a lot of work for it, but none of it is material that I can post just yet, so that'll have to wait. In some exciting news, I was actually just in Japan for Christmas, Comiket, and New Years; and I got to meet up with Deconstructing Comics. And here's a dinosaur sketch I just did to make up for the recent lack of artwork. :).
