Oops – apologies, I pressed the wrong button so you got half a post! It’s been a fabulous Autumn, with many trees still hanging on to their leaves even now. As I write I can see the lovely delicate golden leaves of a Silver Birch tree opposite the house. First of all a very pretty fern, my favourite the Maidenhair Spleenwort.
