Elder Justus Warner: September 2015
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015_09_01_archive.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, September 21, 2015. The Determining Factor (Week 103). Well, my time is at hand (to say the least). It's really been two years. I don't really know what to say other than my testimony, what I've learned serving the Lord full-time, and why serving a mission, both full-time and "life-time", is so important. I'll start with what I've learned serving a full-time mission. The importance of serving a mission, both full-time and "life-time" (for we who have tak...

Elder Justus Warner: Looking at the Gospel with an Eternal Perspective (Week 99)
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015/08/looking-at-gospel-with-eternal.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, August 24, 2015. Looking at the Gospel with an Eternal Perspective (Week 99). Before I get into the topic I need to introduce my new companion, Elder Lowry. He's from Syracuse, Utah (not New York). He is very enthusiastic about the gospel which is contagious. So far he's been able to help me focus as I help him get to know the skills and the rules taught in the mission. Elder Downing and Elder Berkheimer are awesome! Elder Lowry and I got a call on Friday.

Elder Justus Warner: Harsh Realities (Week 101)
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015/09/harsh-realities.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Harsh Realities (Week 101). Yesterday I realized that I only have three weeks left. That means I have three emails (including this one) left to send. :( Things have been planned in the ward, like Stake Conference and Ward Conference, of which I will not be in Washington to be there. I also realized that two days ago, Sunday, was the last Fast Sunday of the mission. It's very interesting. Have a good and fabulous week! Transfer 13: Mar...

Elder Justus Warner: Why We Share the Gospel (Week 98) (17th and Last Transfer)
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015/08/why-we-share-gospel-week-93-15th-and.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Why We Share the Gospel (Week 98) (17th and Last Transfer). Well, the time has come. My last transfer. It is, as I've heard, the beginning of the end. Or is it? I would rather prefer it is the end of the beginning. This previous transfer has been a good one and I've learned a lot about focus and hard work. It's a really good talk. Here's the link if you want to read it: https:/ www.lds.org/. One really good quote from the talk is this:.

Elder Justus Warner: Highlights on Charity and Love, Hard Work, and the Upcoming Zone Conference (Week 97)
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015/08/highlights-on-charity-and-love-hard.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, August 10, 2015. Highlights on Charity and Love, Hard Work, and the Upcoming Zone Conference (Week 97). Https:/ www.lds.org/general-. Something that I liked from another talk is what a speaker said concerning the love of Christ. He said that there are three ways you can think when it comes to the Love of Christ. 1. Love from. Christ; 2. Love for. Christ; and 3. Love like. Christ. I know that without charity we are nothing (see Moroni 7:46. Transfer 6: Ma...

Elder Justus Warner: April 2015
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, April 27, 2015. Recently, Elder Clauson shared a talk given from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, entitled: What is Truth? He spoke at a CES Devotional (now known as Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults). This talk was a really, really good talk about understanding if there is absolute truth, how to find it, and how to continue to seek for more truth through the Holy Ghost. Here's the link: https:/ www.lds.org/media-. Location: Orting, WA, USA. Anyways, I ...

Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, December 29, 2014. New Years and Daily Resolutions (Week 65). How was everyone's Christmas! One last quote from Elder Christofferson: " Consistent effort in seemingly small, daily steps is a key principle in achieving any great work, including progress in the pathway of discipleship.". I am so excited for this new year for a new start every day. Location: Puyallup, WA, USA. Monday, December 22, 2014. Christmas Miracles and Potentials (Week 64). This acro...

Elder Justus Warner: July 2015
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, July 27, 2015. The gap between now and the end of my mission keeps getting smaller. I have many mixed emotions about it, but I do my best not to let it distract and deter me from working as hard as I can to finish the work Heavenly Father has sent me here to do. That's all for this week. Hope you all have a good one! PS: Here are some pictures Elder Clauson sent from Ethan's baptism. Location: Maple Valley, WA, USA. Monday, July 20, 2015. By President Di...

Elder Justus Warner: May 2015
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Another Transfer in Orting (Week 86) (15th Transfer). Both Elder Clauson and I are staying in Orting for another transfer. Last week has been a hard week with no lessons with investigators and very little success in contacting. Quite a few people tried to bash us and many ignored us. Such is the case of missionary work. Working with members is going okay, though. So that's good. Therefore they shall be your judges. And whosoever speaketh a...

Elder Justus Warner: "For Such a Time As This" (Week 102)
http://elderjustuswarner.blogspot.com/2015/09/for-such-time-as-this-week-102.html
Washington, Federal Way Mission 2013-2015. Monday, September 14, 2015. For Such a Time As This" (Week 102). During his reign over Persia and Media, King Ahasuerus chose Esther, a Jew, to be queen. At around that time Haman, whom had hatred against the Jews, arranged a decree to kill all Jews living in the kingdom due to their, and particularly Mordecai's, irreverence toward him and other leaders of the kingdom. Mordecai in a loving, fatherly way commands Esther to convince the king to reverse the decree.
