Why Preserve the Township. As a business located in Washington Township how will the merger affect me? Businesses located within the Township would have to pay a 1.75% income tax on net profits. My Employees would be subject to a 1.75% income tax on their earnings. My business will be required to withhold estimated taxes and perform additional filings. Each residential landlord must file a complete list of all tenants . As a business how can I help? Make a financial contribution.

Why Preserve the Township. What will happen if we don't preserve the Township? I will pay more for road maintenance and upgrades. I will have to help pay the estimated additional $15,400,000 in City of Centerville debt. I will pay the current 1.75% tax on my earned income and on the net profits from my business. Why preserve the Township? I’m satisfied with the Township services. I have better control of how my tax money is spent. Other mergers have lead to higher costs and taxes.
