Albrecht Conrad Finck von Finckenstein has built the castle Finckenstein in 1716-1720. The construction of the castle and the creation of the 100-hectare-park cost four million Reichsmark. Donnerstag, 16. September 2010. The castle Quaritz was built in 1706 by George Caspar von Tschammer. Adjoining to the castle an English garden with rare trees and shrubs, which was preserved in parts till this day, was put on. In 1856 the castle was renovated by Majoratsbesitzer August Freiherr von Tschammer und Quaritz. In the immediate vicinity of the castle a mausoleum for the family of Tschammer was created. In 1842-1843 Dorothea von Biron (born von Kurland, married with Edmond de Talleyrand-Périgord) altered the castle classicistic. The park belonging to the castle was formed by Peter Lenné. As the last owner till 1945 Renate baroness von Lancken-Wakenitz is found. Als letzte Besitzerin bis 1945 findet sich Renate Freifrau von Lancken-Wakenitz.

In 1662 Balthasar von der Goltz from the house Reppow/Pommern, district administrative official in Neidenburg, acquired the neighbouring property of Mertensdorf called Sortlack, which remained till 1945 in the possession of the family (the last german owner was Dietrich Freiherr von der Goltz).
