Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Feeling EXTREMELY grossed out by life right now. And of course, by certain people. Had a pseudo-weekend yesterday, drove down to KM8 at the beach to chill out some. Drinking is incredibly expensive in Singapore, but KM8 on a weekday night is just too alluring to pass up. Almost fell asleep actually, heh. Maybe I'll cook a little this week, just to loosen up. I felt young again last night, after some coaxing by Monty and Yx to do something utterly unimaginable - I drove out at 1 am all the way to Pasir Ris, just to grab newly-imported corals. November 21, 2011. I don’t know what to expect, just like every other time when change is afoot. Perhaps it’s best not to dwell on such matters, nor over-worry that things will be disastrous, because I think things always turn out ok. It’s been a great run in Darlie and I think I’m going to miss everyone.

Saturday, May 30, 2009. Baked Rainbow Trout with Dill and Caviar Sauce. Rainbow trout, 300-400g each (each trout serves 2-3). Heavy cream / creme fraiche / white pasta sauce. Clean out rainbow trout, and marinate with rock salt. Wash off excess rock salt, and stuff belly with 3-4 sprigs of fresh dill and 1-2 cloves of garlic.
