West Wycombe Community Library. History of the Library Building. Intrigued by our lovely old building. It does have quite a history. The library sits firmly in the centre of the picturesque village of West Wycombe. We are at the side of The Swan public house. The library dates from the late 17th century and was used as a wheelwights before becoming the village library in the 1940's. The butcher's shop next door used to be the village blacksmiths shop. West Wycombe Community Library. Craft Group On Tuesdays. Every Tuesday morning there is a craft group that meets up. Just bring a craft project you are working on and come along for craft and a chat. Everybody welcome. This is an open group just turn up anytime from 10am. West Wycombe Village Hall. Teams of 8 - £10 a head including a huge Ploughmans supper. Bring your own drink and nibbles.
