She sings along to many songs, but her favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the theme to The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That.she can sing those all by herself! We couldn't figure out where she learned Twinkle Twinkle. We don't sing it much at home, but I learned that Papa sings it to her when they swing at the park! Oh, and she sings the alphabet! Height 29 inches 47th percentile. She is just about the same size Marlee was at that age. Sweet Eloise is taking steps! She takes about four at a time before she decides that crawling is more efficient. She can, however, walk a long way holding just one hand. I wonder how long until we have an official walker? Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Wordless Wednesday: Silly Goose. Her vocabulary so far:. Maw-Ma (Marlee, sounds different than Mama). Doug (Grandma's boyfriend. This one comes out oddly clear.). And by far the cutest, Uh Oh! Mostly in response to a dropped chupa). Looks like I have another early talker for sure. She had a major language explosion while we were camping last weekend. I fill my facebook feed with sweet pictures of the girls, funny things they've said, and tales of recent accomplishments. From there, my memories disappear into e-blivion. :(. And is practicing the trinomial. We left the school feeling awfully proud of our girls, and as always, thrilled with Montessori. I'm still waiting for that windfall that will allow us to keep the girls in their school through elementary :).

Sure, she's been "reading" for over a year (sounding out words), but now she's READING (reading books without sounding out words aloud). Still, it's a challenge for her and flat out exhausts her.
