Welcome to my blog. Posted by Luke Monaghan. On Wednesday, October 19, 2011. October, our class had a critique on the business designs we came up with. I believe he liked a high majority of our work and we went fairly well in the design process, most aspects have still to improve but many are at where he believes they should be. Colour in the logo, I designed an alternate. The brochure design didn’t have as much thought put into it as I believe I should of which showed through the design. The t...Blogger...

JARRODS GRAPHICS: Brief Critique Report
http://jarrodgraphic.blogspot.com/2011/10/brief-critique-report.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. For my webpage mock up I kept it to the same theme to the booklet. It was simple in design and Bec liked the design. In critique Luke stated that it was a good design however the typeface for the links was different to the other bodies of work and therefore did not show consistency. I understand that consistency is paramount in branding and if it was changed it would be more appropriate. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

JARRODS GRAPHICS: June 2011

Monday, June 20, 2011. Magazine Spread- farm safety with dodgy images. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Monday, June 13, 2011. In this spread I kept the illustration simple but clear. The type is adequate size and is positioned in way that is easy to read for the child. Subtle shadow is placed throughout the image to add a little bit of depth. In this spread I created the image to be bright and happy to keep with the theme of sharing. Again the image has subtle shadows and the type is kept the same.

http://katelynhaguesgraphics.blogspot.com/2011/10/cuvcor04b-critique-report.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. On the Monday 17. October our class sat down together in the theory room and critiqued our work as a whole and also individually. The following is my summary of that critique session. Another of our strengths was our attention to detail. Obviously, this isn’t for every piece of work however overall it was key in the quality of our work. For my webpage mock-up I first researched other similar webpage’s to get a general idea of the look and feel that they had. I then ad...For my ...
