Read & Relax: August 2015

http://greaterdandenongreadingblog.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Monday, 31 August 2015. Indelible ink by Fiona McGregor. Is a story about a Sydney woman called Marie King who has recently become divorced from her husband David (not a very nice person) and is not handling it very well. On a drunken whim she decides to get a tattoo of a Ghost Moth on one of her shoulders. This leads to a friendship with the tattoo artist Rhys and eventually more tattoos across her body. This is a great book to read and I highly recommend it. Friday, 28 August 2015. But like all closets...

Read & Relax: Fantasy Creatures In Clay by Emily Coleman

http://greaterdandenongreadingblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/fantasy-creatures-in-clay-by-emily.html

Thursday, 16 July 2015. Fantasy Creatures In Clay by Emily Coleman. The colour photos and written instructions are clear, concise and work very effectively together. The photos are so beautiful I enjoyed them just as a study in the evolution of a sculptural project long before attempting the techniques outlined. There is also thorough information on materials and tools, however you don’t need to invest much to begin making your creature – I made do with skewers and a chopstick. Subscribe to Library enews.

Coming up.... - Welcome

This website is a simpler version of the one I had previously. Instead of separating celebrities and shows by venue, I've just listed them by date. As before, not all shows will necessarily display a full cast. I will only be showing those people that interest me (and some that I know will interest friends). And if I've already met a person, they may not appear at all. If a show runs for a week or more, be aware that not all dates may have a performance (mostly Sundays). Like I say, nothing fancy here.
