The Wings Home is the only home located in Allegan County that provides care to terminally ill individuals and their families free of charge. Your donation helps the Wings Home continue to be a haven for people in their last days or weeks of life. These vital services are available only with the generous support of our community. The cost to operate the Wings Home is approximately $16.95 an hour. That equals $406.80 per 24 hour day. Your donation of any amount will help! Fabric Softener *Unscented Sheets.

The Wings Home is a four bedroom home that cares for terminally ill patients from Wings of Hope Hospice in the final weeks of life. The individual is screened and accepted as a hospice patient before being accepted at the Wings Home. Requests or inquiries for admission may come from an individual, family member, physician, hospital, hospice or community resource. The individual must be a Wings of Hope Hospice.

At the Wings Home, volunteers are the heart of our home. Around the clock care is provided by trained volunteers and staff at no cost to patients and their families. Volunteer caregivers provide hands on care to our guests from 7am -10 pm in 5 hour shifts. All volunteers are required to attend a training class and are provided with one-on-one training. If you are not sure if this kind of volunteering is for you, shadow another caregiver and find out! Wings Home Training schedule.
