Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Woohoo - I saw another new bird - a brown thrasher - at my backyard goldfish pond. I love to watch the birds that come to my goldfish pond and bathe and get a drink. This is baby bird season, my favorite time of year, and I’m getting a lot of baby birds coming to my pond for their first bath and drink. Yesterday I got a new surprise! I get to add a new bird to my backyard bird watching list as well as my Bird Watching Life List. Labels: Life in the Backyard. Pictures of My Pets.

My Christian Testimony – How I Came to Believe in God. I Was Raised Without a Belief in God. I Met Some Friends Who Were Creationists. They Dared Me to Read A Book about Fossils. I Read a Book about the Origin of Life – Life Required a Creator. I Read a Book about How the Scientific Evidence Matches What Is In the Bible. I Was Surprised To Find That So Many Scientists Did Not Believe In Evolution. Meanwhile, I Started Going to Church – And Still Read More Books by Scientists. But, they were very confiden...

December 10, 2010: I installed Internet Explorer 9 Beta yesterday and I do not like it. Well, it is all gone now! I found out that it was messing up my WordPress.com. My African Grey Parrot, Rufus, likes to play interactive word games - Yes, really! For instance, he likes to play Marco Polo with me when I am in another room. He picked it up all by himself, we did not teach it to him. He is a great observer of things around him, and just pays attention. He is his own man. Rufus, you silly bird!

X-Evolutionist: The fall of Windows Live Spaces from the point of view of an expatriate
http://x-evolutionist.blogspot.com/2010/12/fall-of-windows-live-spaces-from-point.html
Wednesday, December 08, 2010. The fall of Windows Live Spaces from the point of view of an expatriate. I joined MSN Spaces, later Windows Live Spaces, in 2005. My Windows Live Space was my little slice of the web. I had it all set up the way I wanted. I organized a one-woman crusade called “Windows Live Spaces Spam Central Reporting Service”. Eventually, we got the announcement that Spaces was closing and our spaces would be transferred to WordPress.com. Caught thousands of spam comments. Keeping WordPre...

X-Evolutionist: Bird watching big event in my backyard - I saw six goldfinches yesterday at my pond
http://x-evolutionist.blogspot.com/2011/04/bird-watching-big-event-in-my-backyard_19.html
Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Bird watching big event in my backyard - I saw six goldfinches yesterday at my pond. Yesterday I saw three male goldfinches in full bright yellow breeding plumage, and three females. Since I have only seen a couple of goldfinches in my life - mostly drab non-breeding plumage, this is a big deal for me. It's mating season, and soon baby birds will come and get their first drink and bath at my pond. Labels: Life in the Backyard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

X-Evolutionist: I installed Internet Explorer 9 Beta yesterday and I do not like it
http://x-evolutionist.blogspot.com/2010/12/i-installed-internet-explorer-9-beta.html
Friday, December 10, 2010. I installed Internet Explorer 9 Beta yesterday and I do not like it. Internet Explorer 9 Beta looks and acts a lot like Google Chrome. The thing is, I liked Internet Explorer 8. If I liked Google Chrome then I would use Google Chrome. I expected that IE9 Beta would be like IE8, except better. But, as far as I can see so far, it is not better than IE8, in my humble opinion. I will try IE9 a few more days, but then I am tempted to go back to IE8. Labels: Computers and the Internet.
