Attack of the Turtles!: fish_tales
http://fish-tales.livejournal.com/30669.html
Attack of the Turtles! I hadn't had the boat out for awhile now, so I thought I would do something special last night. For the first time in 3 weeks we had a wensday where the tempature was decent here (80's, still got hot on the boat and had to make a water break- but it was not baking hot); so I decided to take the boat out to the St Croix river. Fished for the first two hours and got two nice catfish right in a row, (kept one released one. Fresh catfish dinner for me tommorow! Post a new comment.

Hey all: fish_tales
http://fish-tales.livejournal.com/31717.html
Haven't posted here in awhile. Does anyone still read this community? We've had an unseasonably warm start to spring up here. I only went Ice fishing twice this year because I didn't do all horribly good the two times I went out and it was a really bizare winter. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Console Fishing Game list: fish_tales
http://fish-tales.livejournal.com/31864.html
Console Fishing Game list. I know its been quiet and its been awhile since anyone has posted anything here, but while the ice is melting and I'm getting anxious for that open water, I went out and inventoried all the fishing games I own (console systems only). I was at one point doing reviews of these games waay back when. I might either pickup or restart that project someday. King Salmon- the Big Catch. Bass Master’s Classic: Pro Edition. Jimmy Houston’s Bass Tournament USA. Big Bass World Championship.

Almost time!: fish_tales
http://fish-tales.livejournal.com/28907.html
I wonder if anyone still reads this LJ community. Its been slow, and I guess its partially my fault for being as inactive as I have been as of late with it. O.o. Anyways, just touching base here. Only got out a few times ice fishing this year since it was slow and Open Water is my real domain up here. With the rain and warmer temps, the lakes up here in Minnesota are ALMOST ice free. So who else here is ready for some springtime fishin? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

... damn it - Foxworth's LJ Blog Thingie
http://foxworth.livejournal.com/73852.html
Damn it - Foxworths LJ Blog Thingie. August 17th, 2009. 08:15 pm - . damn it. So last night I got my camera out to take a quick picture of my desk and discovered something. The auto-focus on my 18 55mm kit lens. I tested with my 55 200mm zoom lense. And that lens will focus just fine. It's most likely a problem with the motor or with the signal contacts around the mounting ring. I checked them and the contacts don't look dirty or anything so whatever it is is something internal. The kit lens is a really ...

Hi all, just a quick update:. The community website, minnesota gamer's guild is currently down (again I know. but atleast this time it was a while between? Again it has more problems to do with the ISP at the location of the server. I'm not sure of the exzact cause yet, but I will hopefully get it resolved shortly, but knowing most ISP's it won't be resolved till atleast monday if not sometime next week. *sighs*. Thanks for your paitence. Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal.

Convergence: mn_gamer
http://mn-gamer.livejournal.com/12606.html
Edit: Because of the below comments and getting a hold of the Convergence Staff in this way, this post has now changed. I really want to see Miniatures do well at conventions other then strict gaming conventions, espically the quicker games like Pirates, D&D minis, Star Wars minis, etc. What I will have with me will be small and limited to a duffle bag or a small rolling suitcase. I may however bring the wargods demo kit depending on how things run. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post.

Re-naming MN Gamer: mn_gamer
http://mn-gamer.livejournal.com/11537.html
Detailed results viewable to: All. What should we rename MN Gamer? League of Minnesota Gamers. Minnesota Alliance of Gamers. North Star Gamers Guild. Or suggest your own name:. What will happen is this: mngamer.com will remain registered to me. It will contain a splash page with a re-direct to the new URL that will explain why we changed our name, etc. There will be a couple of phases on this. First I am going to ask people to vote for a name above (taken from suggestions I've allready recieved). When a ...

Convergence Gaming: mn_gamer
http://mn-gamer.livejournal.com/13117.html
First off, Convergence was a blast. Pirates of the Spanish main seemed to be the most popular miniature game I had with me (and I ran games of it all three days.) We had two games of pirates running at one time, and I had players/comments even on the 22nd floor which I was glad that it worked out as well as it did. I would also like to thank the Convergence gaming staff once again for letting me have this opportunity. I look forward to working with you next year as I had a really good time. So once again...
