Undercover & Over Land: Smells of India (the good ones!)
http://undercoverandoverland.blogspot.com/2008/01/smells-of-india-good-ones.html
Undercover and Over Land. Tom and Jen's Post-Japan Travels. Wednesday, 16 January 2008. Smells of India (the good ones! In between meals, Tom and I passed the time by reading, having fun-with-cameras, and jumping off the 2nd-level deck into the water. Motoring around in the boat was very peaceful (except for when we went down the narrow canals and kids ran after us shouting, "School pen! The next morning I was almost sad to set foot again on solid land, so pleasant had our little trip been. Tomorrow we l...

http://undercoverandoverland.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Someone's just found the b&w setting on his camera.rookie). Haha, in response to Cathy's comment in the previous post, it was just a picture of Tom in front of a big panda poster. Unfortunately, we couldn't get close enough to a real panda to take that kind of photo. I like Lhasa a lot. The city itself is n...

Jen no Mado: December 2006
http://jennomado.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
A little internet window into my life because I'm narcissistic enough to think that you care. Monday, December 18, 2006. Home for the Holidays. I've been home since Wednesday night and things are going well despite still being a bit jet-lagged. Here are some things I like about America (specifically the greater Cleveland area):. Right turn on red. Speed limits of 60 MILES per hour. Sensored (rather than timed) traffic lights. People hold doors for you. LOTS of TV channels. Posted by Jen at 11:36 AM.

Undercover & Over Land: Unexpected
http://undercoverandoverland.blogspot.com/2008/02/unexpected.html
Undercover and Over Land. Tom and Jen's Post-Japan Travels. Wednesday, 6 February 2008. Happy Ash Wednesday, everyone! With all the harassment I have had to put up with from Indian men over the past few months, it very nearly pushed me over the edge! But then I started to do the math and stopped into a shop and asked if there was some sort of festival going on. Turns out that the soaking wasn't a hate crime, but that yesterday was the last day of Carnival! Tom and I sat out the next couple songs as we we...

Jen no Mado: November 2006
http://jennomado.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
A little internet window into my life because I'm narcissistic enough to think that you care. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. In my last class today, Mr. Matsui and I were teaching the 1st graders, "Where is my? For an example, Mr. Matsui wanted to ask me in front of the class, "Where is my clock? To which I was supposed to respond, "It's on the wall". Matsui messed up, though, and forgot to to pronounce the "l" in "clock". Ooooooooh, my goodness. I admit I gave a little giggle. I love Japanese people. I hav...

Undercover and Over Land. Tom and Jen's Post-Japan Travels. Monday, 26 November 2007. We've been up to quite a lot since Tom's last post. Here is the recap. We also made time to check out the City Palace and museum which contained various exhibits on royal costumes, art, and weapons. One of the courtyards showcased a pair of the largest silver vessels in the world that the Maharaja used to take water from the Ganges River to England for someone's coronation (I forget who! Well, maybe not the henna tattoo...

Undercover and Over Land. Tom and Jen's Post-Japan Travels. Sunday, 6 January 2008. The night train turned into something of an ordeal, but we arrived in Trivandrum in one piece, if a little late and a lot dirty.
