In this case we're going to split the party before heading toward the disturbance at the center of town, so the party select screen allows us to assign people to groups A and B. Next, I built a mission map for the battle, and that forced me to break a good bit of new ground. A lot of this art is my terrible placeholder art, so when we have a real art pass it will look a lot better. Bam, take out those gorgon deer.

Tales of the Yondering Lands. Thursday, June 11, 2015. We've got 2x2 units now. And raccoons that shoot spikes from their cleft tails! Ability buttons have colors now, and end-turn buttons are moved to the far right to make it less likely that you will accidentally end your turn. The camera is nicer. It doesn't handle the case where you're in a mission as part of a campaign yet, but it handles them each separately. If we don't get green, we'll all be blue. An idea came to me yesterday that I think is going to be the big one: Wind turbans. Basically, we are going to design wrapped headgear with a fan device embedded in it that captures wind energy as the wearer walks. This could be the green industry that turns around unemployment and brings an era of energy independence. Plus, it might improve foreign relations by showing fashion solidarity with various folk in Afghanistan, India, and parts of the Middle East.
