We drove through Dundee to Arbroath where we bought smokies and scallops. We took a scenic drive to Finzean Farm Stall. I had elderflower presse to drink and Dave had an espresso. I can highly recommend that you go into a co-operative store and do your shopping there for most of your essentials. They have a great selection, good daily specials and you can buy the vegetables loose. There are Marks and Spencers in some places which are of course the high quality you expect. For meat try a local butcher – they might be a bit pricier, but the quality is worth it! We love Thorntons for their toffees and sugar free chocolates. Hope you have enjoyed reading about what we did on holiday!

A few years ago, when Dave and I started our annual overseas holidays, we contemplated going to the Indi 500. When I told Dave how many hours it would take us he said no ways. And now the time is nearly upon us to go. We will be spending three nights in Edinburgh, 2 nights on the Isle of Skye and 5 nights in Ballatar – I cannot wait! June 20, 2012 at 9:15 am. Monday, 9 November 2015. P4A enjoyed taking part in a workshop with the Edinburgh Archaeology Outreach Project. They investigated bones, pieced together evidence and decoded ancient messages. Friday, 30 October 2015. What a busy week P4A have had! Monday, 26 October 2015. P4A enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Money Museum. The children investigated and handled money artefacts, explored coins, made their own coin and compared banknotes from the past and present. We all learned so much about money!

Ballater to Gordons Bay: Sunday May 6. May 6, 2012. Tandy Lavender and Lime. We were up bright and early to pack up. With all our shopping we are still underweight! Breakfast was a treat of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. Dave checked out while I sorted out the bags. Our electricity cost us 21 for the week. We then drove through Perth and stopped at the Powmill Milk Bar in Hook of Devon where we had an espresso each and shared a cream and jam scone ( 5.70). May 5, 2012.
