A life skills group has recently started, where trainees learn to prepare snacks and hot drinks, being mindful of healthy eating and using equipment appropriately. They learn tasks in daily living, including preparing and posting a letter, road safety, shopping, Stranger Danger, telling the time and use of money. Like us on Facebook! The Centre incorporates cricket, football, pool, badminton, rounders, Pilates, walking and sailing opportunities to name a few. Furthermore, the WEA run Drama, Music and Yoga courses to encourage the trainees to express themselves in various forms. A small group enjoy the drama classes. The Making Music course.

We originally started off with a handful of chickens that we rescued from a battery farm, who were in a very sad and sorry state. From this beginning, we have since had more rescue chickens, and purchased Ducks and Geese too, as well as a couple of Turkeys. We have also bred our ever-expanding flock of feathered friends. Collecting spectacles for recycling was a club activity as far back as 1967, however it became a major project for the club in 1980 with a delivery of 700 sorted specs to the Missionary Optical Society in Devon for use in their clinics in Kenya and India. Welcome to St Mary’s the Virgin, Apuldram, located in the Diocese of Chichester (Church of England). Tucked away in fields close to Chichester Harbour, St Mary’s aims to be a friendly, all age church, open to all who live in the village and the surrounding area. Visitors are particularly welcome. Apuldram is a small parish on the north eastern upper reach of Chichester Harbour about two miles (3 km) south-west of the centre of Chichester in West Sussex, England. Access to the harbour is at Dell Quay. The nearest railway station is 1.2 miles (1.9 km) northeast of the village, at Chichester. The area of the parish is 1,073 acres (4.34 km2) and at the 2011 census the population was 169, a reduction of 9% from the 2001 census. 14th July, 2016.
