7 days a week from noon on. Coalmont Hotel the month before it opened on April 24, 1912. Horses were still standard transportation. Photo from Babe Norton. Automobiles were already common by 1929. The bank and drugstore were also located along Main Street. Main street was still not paved in 1939 and the mine closed the year after.
