January 15, 2016. Friends, Festivity, & Frolicking. As the holiday season draws to a close, I thought it might be nice to share some of my favorite moments from a holiday soirée I had with some of my favorite people. I wanted an intimate gathering, with only my nearest and dearest friends. I decorated the house with handmade paper garlands, fairy lights, and even a tapestry for a cozy, bohemian feel (and also an excellent backdrop for the ensuing photoshoot! Coming Up Roses - Ararat Garden. A country garden in south-west Victoria built from scratch, where vegies and fruit trees and roses grow. Saturday, December 14, 2013. I've never seen Gazanias grow like they do here in Ararat. Great swathes of them on footpaths. I suspect it's not intentional but rather they have established themselves as weeds. Usually they are the orange and yellow ones, but check out the colour of this one. Tis gorgeous - orangey pink - I've never seen another like it.
