Wednesday, February 21, 2018. To back up and cover the time from the last report, I picked up Clyda on time at the Las Vegas airport and we drove to Henderson to visit Carl and Janis who lived near us until Janis retired. We had a nice visit and later went out to eat at their Golf Club. Nice to visit with good friends. On Monday morning we left Las Vegas and drove to Quartzsite with a stop at Needles for lunch where I introduced Clyda to Carl’s Jr $5 lunch. We shared one. Launching a Chinese lantern.

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Farthest north and east we are going. Today's drive was 140 miles from Jacksonville, FL to Savannah, GA which is the farthest north we plan to go on this trip. Sooooooo, what do do we do after we are set-up in camp, we go for a ride. Yup! So we have the GPS on while we drive around Hardeeville but it shows no roads. The red line is I-95 but no local roads show. Wierd! But, they do have a Dairy Queen. So of course we had to stop for a small one. Site seeing in Savannah tomorrow.

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Getting ready for the annual Ranchero Visitadores ride. The yard is looking much better after lots of weed pulling, pruning, and general cleanup. The biggest item on the RV was getting the peeling wax on the front and back caps removed. This is just elbow grease and time. All of it from the top of a ladder. Thursday, January 29, 2015. I'm tired today so a quick synopsis of the last few days. We arrived in Fredericksburg without problems. The next morning we drove to Medina, the “apple Capitol of Texas” which is south of Kerrville for some Food Channel famous apple pie. Monday, June 15, 2015. Clyda is progressing in her healing. She now only uses a cane when outside the house for her walks. She still has the knee brace and that may be for some time yet. She has physical therapy 3 days a week at the clinic. So we are running back and forth to that. I have done some backyard weeding after our recent rain last week. We only got about 7 tenths of an inch so it didn't soak in very much. It did help the lawn but not much else. CA, United States. View my complete profile.

Thursday, July 16, 2015. I must be lazy. I guess I must be lazy as I can't quite get up the energy to write a blog more often. Although I have been busy with household stuff like cooking, watering the yard pulling weed, etc, and, oh yes, spending way too much time on the computer. That doesn't count does it? At one time I had so many papers scattered around it looked like a whirl wind had gone through the room. Now I have copied, corralled, and filed most of what I want to take with me. I must be lazy.

Now that the wingtips were fit to the wings, I could begin installing the lights and other misc things that are going in there. First, I am installing the Van’s wingtip landing light kit.
