Friday, December 9, 2016. Friday, December 9, 2016. We had a great day together! We had P.E. today and if we followed directions we got to play what time is it Mr./Mrs. Fox? We worked on dribbling basketballs while playing the fox game! During writer's workshop we worked on letters to someone in the class. We picked a name, wrote them a kind letter, then read it to them. We played a least to greatest game where we put some pretty big numbers in order. We read a math book called Addtron. It was about doubles and Addtron was a robot who lived in the world of Op. Sunday, December 4, 2016. Art from the Heart. We had a festive time at our annual. Art from the Heart. More than 120 students from both elementary schools joined one another to celebrate the holidays by making presents for their families and friends. Around the gym we set up craft tables and students made gifts like cards, ornaments and jewelry. S always, the FREE gifts at the white elephant tables were a huge hit! After making gifts and shopping at the white elephant tables, everyone wrapped.

Monday, September 8, 2014. School is in full swing and I love my group of firsties! I have 20 and we are off to a great start. I love how each year is so different! First Grade Lyons' Den. March 17, 2018. Happy St. Patrick's Day. We have been busy this week completing some Leprechaun activities. Students created WANTED signs and we posted them around our school! We also did some How To writing. Students wrote how they'd catch one. And of course to top it off, we drank DE-licious Shamrock Shakes! I continually got thumbs up for how good they tasted.
