First Grade Lyons' Den. March 17, 2018. Happy St. Patrick's Day. We have been busy this week completing some Leprechaun activities. Students created WANTED signs and we posted them around our school! We also did some How To writing. Students wrote how they'd catch one. And of course to top it off, we drank DE-licious Shamrock Shakes! I continually got thumbs up for how good they tasted. I hope you're all enjoying the last few weeks of your vacation! My mind has been consumed with school again and making LOTS of lists. My husband and I spent our summer hiking a bit and going to camp. July was a tough month for us. We lost our pup to cancer, which was very sudden and unexpected. She was quite a spunky girl and we miss her lots! Day 5: Computer Lab.

Monday, May 18, 2015. Do You SEE them? Do you see them! The BIG black dots? Those dots are the eyes. Yes, a baby chick's eye! Today we candled our eggs and we saw 12 black eyes. Monday, September 8, 2014. School is in full swing and I love my group of firsties! I have 20 and we are off to a great start. I love how each year is so different!
