ALoveStoryUnderTheCottonWoodTrees: Precious, Priceless Marriage

http://alovestoryunderthecottonwoodtrees.blogspot.com/2015/08/precious-priceless-marriage.html

Friday, August 7, 2015. Precious, Priceless Marriage. Anybody can get married, people do it all the time. Put on a white dress, stand before all your friends and family, make a vow and kiss. Eat cake. Go on a honeymoon and share a home. That's it, right? Now you're married. And if luck is on your side and things work out you'll be married "til death do us part." It really doesn't take much to be married like that. We must never be naive enough to think that marriage is a safe harbor from the fall.The...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Sweet Dreamers and Happy Hopes. Sometimes, all the busyness and responsibilities of being a mom fade away, and I am able to catch a glimpse of how lucky I really am to be a mom of many children. How through the fresh, innocent eyes of my kids I see life differently. I see how the here and now, this place, life's current circumstances, could never hold back the excited hope and sweet dreams of youth. Three of my kids are over five feet tall now! Go, little fledging, soar!

http://alovestoryunderthecottonwoodtrees.blogspot.com/2015/02/what-i-can-do-today-to-make-my-marriage.html

Wednesday, February 4, 2015. What I Can Do Today to Make my Marriage Strong for Years to Come. As divorce becomes more common and couples that we know and love call it quits, Blue eyes and I have found ourselves wondering how they got to that place. While we can't judge the situations of others, we can, and we want to, judge our own marriage. Will the years tell an ugly story of broken bitterness or will they tell a sweet story of peace and redemption and the faithfulness of God? I thought of the seven c...

. . . . . . My Life As MaMa

My Life As MaMa. Tuesday, August 04, 2015. First Half of Summer. Well, would you look at that. July is gone! As I knew it would, July flew by in a whirl of swim suits, plane rides, and party favours. It was exhausting- and so, so much fun. This is the summer that the three big kids will learn to swim. Two parents and four kids, doesn't make for very fun outings to the lake when none of the kids can swim. And last week we were back at the pool!
