Growing Up Veg: February 2013

http://growingupveg.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Vegan Parenting Blogs and Resources. Monday, February 25, 2013. When my daughter took a shine to Strawberry Shortcake, I did a little happy dance. While the modern changes to Strawberry were really not necessary, nostalgia still floods my mind when I play with her shortcake dolls. Each birthday I ask my children what type of cake they want, and I was beyond thrilled when my girl said Strawberry Shortcake. On top, as it just wouldn't be strawberry shortcake without it. I bought mine at Whole Foods. Butter...

Vegan Parenting Blogs and Resources. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Sea Snax Product Review (Gluten Free). Contacted me about reviewing Sea Snax's. Food, I was very excited. My kiddos eat snacks every afternoon, and it is fun to try new options. It is affectionately nicknamed mermaid food in our house. The taste testing began, and resulted in two happy kids begging for more. My son ended up making a seaweed "sandwich" out of a bunch of sheets. He ate an entire package in one sitting. Growing Up Veg: A Tea Party with Valentine's Day Strawberry Powdered or Iced Donuts

http://growingupveg.blogspot.com/2012/01/tea-party-with-baked-valentines.html

Vegan Parenting Blogs and Resources. Thursday, January 19, 2012. A Tea Party with Valentine's Day Strawberry Powdered or Iced Donuts. A couple weeks ago I promised a recipe for some delectable doughnuts, and oh man, these were worth the wait! I needed to tweak the recipe, and apparently the third time was a charm. These would make a nice Valentine's Day treat. Can you tell what they were thinking? Mom, please hurry up and take the picture already, so I can eat my doughnut! 2 cups cake flour. Note: the am...

The little moments we may forget. Saturday, October 27, 2012. I have started on Christmas gifts already! Pintrest really has my creative juices flowing. Here are a couple of projects I am working on. I have been wanting to make the kids new blankets since they are getting bigger, and their toddler size blankets just aren't cutting it anymore. So first up is a rag quilt for Mary. The pics are a little dark, the red fabric is really a hot pink. I got my inspiration here. I have also made a cute marble maze.

Brasher Moments: Our First Family Summer Vacation!

http://brashermoments.blogspot.com/2012/06/our-first-family-summer-vacation.html

The little moments we may forget. Friday, June 29, 2012. Our First Family Summer Vacation! On June 3rd, we left for our first family vacation! We had decided on Colorado. We thought that would be a great first vacation, since both of us had been there before. We had a pretty uneventful trip out there. We made lots of stops, so the kids could get out and play. We stopped at a school park in North Platte, and stopped at a McDonalds outside of Denver and shared a cherry berry chiller (yummy! We found a nice...

The little moments we may forget. Monday, July 11, 2011. Wow, I have not updated since Mary's birthday! I guess its been a busy summer. We've been swimming, playing in the sprinkler, and having great family time. So I made porcupine meatballs awhile ago and never got around to posting the recipe. So here is the long awaited porcupine meatball recipe. 1 lb ground beef (could use ground turkey). 1/4 cup white rice uncooked. 1/4 cup condensed tomato soup. For the tomato gravy:. Rest of the can of tomato soup.

Brasher Moments: Holiday Spending

http://brashermoments.blogspot.com/2012/11/holiday-spending.html

The little moments we may forget. Thursday, November 1, 2012. With the holiday’s fast approaching I thought I would share some of the tips I use to keep our budget in check. I keep a wish list on Amazon.com and add to it throughout the year when I get ideas for presents for people. Then I always have a price reference too. If I see an item on sale elsewhere, I know what my price point is. Just to name a few. We use an envelope system, and start an envelope for Christmas usually in September. Metaporphasi...

I love how Ryann calls Mary "Murry". I love that the kids laugh at jokes now. I love that my kids still cuddle with me. I secretly love it when my kids get into things. I love that my mom is our go-to babysitter. I love finding my kids cuddled up together. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget.

. . . . . . My Life As MaMa

My Life As MaMa. Tuesday, August 04, 2015. First Half of Summer. Well, would you look at that. July is gone! As I knew it would, July flew by in a whirl of swim suits, plane rides, and party favours. It was exhausting- and so, so much fun. This is the summer that the three big kids will learn to swim. Two parents and four kids, doesn't make for very fun outings to the lake when none of the kids can swim. And last week we were back at the pool! It's the busiest summer yet, but probably also the most fun :).
