Old Man Likes Little Children. Although the confrontation was tragic, the hardest part was not even the confrontation itself . it was me. Why do I enjoy young people? What did they see in me that screamed pedophile? What could I have done differently? Were my motives pure? Why did the Netherlands mean so much to me? Am I leaving out part of the story? I still struggle to answer those questions, but I have had several thoughts in the last year that have helped me come to terms with my disappointment. 1 - God does care about me and my passions. I think my trip to the Netherlands testifies to this. Does this mean I start collecting a welfare check and cut corners wherever possible?
