Think Helensville: August 2006
http://thinkhelensville.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Friday, August 25, 2006. The Riverside Walkway - a Not-So-Hidden Gem. When is a hidden gem not a hidden gem - when it's the Helensville Riverside Walkway. There has been heaps of local publicity about this wonderful new town asset - yet I wonder how many locals have actually walked along it. The walkway is still under development, with plenty of work planned in the future. It's a great way for people staying in the townshi...

Think Helensville: September 2006
http://thinkhelensville.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Sunday, September 24, 2006. Community Spirit - That's the Spirit! Helensville, like most small towns in New Zealand, relies on community-minded people to get a lot of things done. It's hard to imagine where we would be without all those good souls. Look at the wonderful resource the town now has in the Riverside Walkway - organised and built (with much hard work over a considerable period) by volunteers. The list of community ...

Think Helensville: January 2007
http://thinkhelensville.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Thursday, January 18, 2007. Apologies, apologies . Boy, time flies when you're not. I know I promised to write soon, but I've been up to my armpits in sawdust, struggling to finish my office extensions before too many clients wonder why their work isn't getting done! The job is progressing well, but has left little time for anything else - blogging included. It's a shame, as I have a head just FULL of opinions ;-).

Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Monday, December 25, 2006. Merry Christmas everyone. Apologies (again) for the lack of blogging action - I haven't run out of opinions, just time! And I've got a building project on starting tomorrow, so it may be a week or two before you hear from me again. Take care everyone and have a safe and happy holiday break. Think Helensville: Helensville Traffic By-Pass
http://thinkhelensville.blogspot.com/2007/04/helensville-traffic-by-pass.html
Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Is Helensville to undergo by-pass surgery? Once again, the possibility of a traffic by-pass has reared its head, and this time it looks as though the council may actually be serious. Many of these trucks seem to show little sign of slowing for pedestrian crossings too, so unwary shoppers can be taking their lives in their hand at times. The plan estimated traffic volumes would double in the 20 years to...

Think Helensville: October 2006
http://thinkhelensville.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Occasional views, comments, thoughts and ideas about Helensville, New Zealand. Thursday, October 19, 2006. Apologies for the big gap between posts. Things have been VERY hectic at work, and on top of that I've had to copy with the death of my father, which while not unexpected was none-the-less a very sad occasion. I promise to come up with something worthwhile for you all to read in a few days! Posted by Dave @ 3:50 PM 2 comments. The old KDC property. Were a Super Town! Helensville Passenger Rail Trial.
