Thursday, March 19, 2009. Thanks for all the phone calls and e-mails to check in on the sick kiddos! Basically, we still need your prayers! Owen has improved from the flu diagnosis rather quickly, but Pate's fever is still hanging on, and she has complained today of a sore throat (and it IS red and swollen). Monday, July 6, 2009. Yes, we're alive. Just haven't been communicating with many people this past week! We've spent 4 nights in our new house, and are still surrounded by tons of boxes. I do have a functional kitchen and have cooked four meals here so far! Anyway, just checking in to give everyone and update, and to extend an invitation to come by and visit! Saturday, August 22, 2009. While I was out in Washington, Owen lost his first tooth! We're not even sure why, and were actually a little worried about it. 1) He JUST turned 4, so seems a little young, and 2) it was a TOP tooth! Usually you lose a bottom tooth first. Anyway, we called his dentist's office a couple times, and the gal said that if Dr. Oliver was concerned he would call us back. He never did, so I hope everything's okay!
