Unfortunately, Maddie was a bit under the weather and had to stay home. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. December is always a great month for us! The kids would say it is because of Christmas and all those gifts and treats. I say it is because of lots of time spent with family and the fact that Kurt always needs to use up his vacation time for the year and spends so much time at home with us. This December was no exception and the way the dates fell, Kurt and the kids were home for just about 2 straight weeks. We kicked off the holiday with Christmas Eve at Mimi and Buppy's.

Grandma got the kids some gardening gear. We ate a lot of our own zucchini this year! And we'll often get visitors, like this squirrel and blue bird. I've caught 3 squirrels and released them far from the house. They can't resist bread with peanut butter on it. There was an amazing illustration exhibit recently in Malibu. This illustration was my favorite, so cool. I had her pose in front of it for scale, haha. This little guy was born serious. Very pensive looking. This girl graduated Kindergarten!
