We work on organizing and curating these genomic data, overcoming technical biases, and assessing how they can be used for public health. Evidence based data analysis. Is most published research false? Do most studies fail to replicate? We work on applying rigorous statistical prinicples to analyze these questions.

Hey, I'm Alyssa! I work on the machine learning team at Stripe. Before joining Stripe, I did a PhD in biostatistics at Johns Hopkins. My research focused on computational biology, specifically developing statistical methods and software for finding differential gene expression with RNA sequencing data.
