Tuesday, July 27, 2010. It's called the rainy Season for good Reason. For the last few days, it has been almost non-stop rain. It's a real shocker to me, as I was preparing for Kenya to be metal-melting hot. Instead, it's been rainy and well, actually quite chilly. Who'd a thunk? Soon, we will be collecting this rain water and will be able to cut out water costs down substantially. In Kenya, water is power - so having as many methods of water collection is crucial to running a place like this.

Sunday, June 19, 2011. I love Kenya. Today we went to Thompson Falls, and even though I thought that I was going to fall down the very steep path on the way down, got soaked by the spray. From the waterfall at the bottom, and thought my legs were just going to give up on we on the way up, it was very fun and all worth it. Most of us (everyone except Phill. And Connor) climbed as close to the falls as we could get, even though it was a little tricky and we got drenched. I am proud. Make s'mores, danced.
