Kenya Make A Difference?: :)
http://kenyamakeadifference2.blogspot.com/2011/06/blog-post.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. I love Kenya. Today we went to Thompson Falls, and even though I thought that I was going to fall down the very steep path on the way down, got soaked by the spray. From the waterfall at the bottom, and thought my legs were just going to give up on we on the way up, it was very fun and all worth it. Most of us (everyone except Phill. And Connor) climbed as close to the falls as we could get, even though it was a little tricky and we got drenched. I am proud. Make s'mores, danced.

Kenya Make A Difference?: Wow.
http://kenyamakeadifference2.blogspot.com/2011/06/wow.html
Thursday, June 16, 2011. The downsides or challenges I've faced so far is the language barrier we have with some of the people, especially the little kids who haven't learned pretty much any English, and the fact that I just had to kill a HUGE spider here in my room. Obviously, the good parts of this trip far outweigh the few negative things. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In a larger map.

Kenya Make A Difference?: Fruit bread in Kenya... ?
http://kenyamakeadifference2.blogspot.com/2011/06/fruit-bread-in-kenya.html
Saturday, June 18, 2011. Fruit bread in Kenya? We placed our order for dinner and waited. Before I reach this part of the story, those who know me, know that when I get hungry I'm liable to eat whatever you place in front of me and I pay little attention to what I might be eating till afterwards. Sandwich with onions on it does Casey realize that it was her sandwich. (I wasn't aware she ordered more than the soup. and shouldn't the waiter be bringing her the soup and the sandwich at the same time? I had ...

Kenya Make A Difference?: quick note...
http://kenyamakeadifference2.blogspot.com/2011/06/quick-note.html
Saturday, June 18, 2011. To put things into perspective here I am keeping a log on my computer and in just four short days have typed up over 15 pages of experiences. I'm aware I cannot put all those words into this blog so I'm attempting to select certain stories. June 18, 2011 at 11:46 AM. I so felt the same last year. Even though I could type up paragraphs upon paragraphs, it never seemed to fully represent the actual happenings. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In a larger map.

Kenya Make A Difference?: Speechless...
http://kenyamakeadifference2.blogspot.com/2011/06/speechless.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. I am at a complete loss of words at this moment. This place is SO amazing! I had thought that Kenya was going to be just like those commericals on television that are always showing sad children and tears. That is a huge misconception. There are places here that are like that, but the thing is that everyone is happy here! I have made countless friends already, not to sound like a show off or anything. I am growing extremely close to Ashley Sullivan, she's hilarious! Everyone here i...
