Cinnamon Moore: January 2015
http://kohawktalk-cinnamon.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. Let me tell you what it was like being student body president aka SBP. Over this last year, I've served as Coe's SBP and it has been the most challenging, exhausting, rewarding, and terrific year. My VP and I focused on students' needs and we made huge strides in improving their Coe experience. We didn't back down when we faced opposition from within Senate and kept pushing to improve relations with faculty, staff, and students. Every setback is a setup for a comeback.

Cinnamon Moore: The Original Cinnamon

Thursday, November 13, 2014. Fun fact: I'm named after my mother, so when she comes to visit it is extra spicy on campus. A couple weeks ago, I was lucky enough to have my mom and sister fly out to visit me for Family Weekend! They traveled all the way from Colorado Springs, CO to hang out with me for the weekend and I could not have been more excited. My older sister has never been to Iowa and it was awesome to watch her experience Coe and the Midwest for the 1st time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cinnamon Moore: 'Tis the season
http://kohawktalk-cinnamon.blogspot.com/2014/11/tis-season.html
Thursday, November 13, 2014. It's beginning to look a lot like Autumn! Trees on the New Apartment Quad. Even though I LOVE the changes that come with the season, my favorite part of fall is Homecoming - the trees and leaves provide the perfect backdrop for some Kohawk football! Not to mention all that happens during Homecoming week like the parade, pep rally/coronation, and dance. Regardless of the weather, Homecoming season at Coe is truly spectacular. Representing as Student Body President in the Parade.

Sunday, October 20, 2013. Phi Tau's Getting Ready for the Parade! This year, the weather was perfect for the parade, and it was amazing to see so many alumni and people of Cedar Rapids out there supporting. All of the Greek organizations on campus walked together and it was really cool seeing all of the different organizations having such a good time working together. Until the Next Adventure,. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. On a Roller Coaster. Six Flags is an amusement park with some intense roller-coast...

Kohawk Talk- Ryan: Busy weekend
http://kohawktalk-ryan.blogspot.com/2015/02/busy-weekend.html
Thursday, February 12, 2015. Working hard(or hardly working) during the visit weekend. After a very hectic Saturday full of visitors, all of campus was quiet on the following Sunday. One awesome tradition that happens every Sunday is half priced wings. A few of us will spend every Sunday afternoon at a local restaurant getting a good deal on some great food! I love spending my Sunday's with some of the greatest people on campus, and am gonna miss this when I graduate! Until The Next Adventure,.

Kohawk Talk- Ryan: September 2014
http://kohawktalk-ryan.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2014. The Beginning of Senior Year. Outside of Twins stadium. It is crazy to think that this is the beginning of my last year here at Coe. I am running Cross Country, as well as taking four classes including Environmental Law and Policy, which is becoming my favorite class. It is so nice having everyone back on campus, and I would not trade the family environment that is present here at Coe for anything. Last Homecoming as a Student! Until the Next Adventure,.

Cinnamon Moore: TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!
http://kohawktalk-cinnamon.blogspot.com/2014/12/today-is-big-day.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2014. TODAY IS THE BIG DAY! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY! I am so excited today because I am finally turning 21! Not only have I waited 21 years for this, but I've waited 11 long months for my birthday! The only reason I'm blogging about how special today is is because I feel so very special - not only did I receive a card from the Admissions office where I work, but I also found a card and chocolate in my mailbox from the Student Affairs office and one of my professors!

Hannah Torry: Oh, so fancy.
http://kohawktalk-hannah.blogspot.com/2014/10/oh-so-fancy.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. Oh, so fancy. As if all this love and support wasn't enough, we walked to our locker room after the game to hear our coach's post-game speech to find President McInally standing in the center of the room clapping and congratulating us all on an important conference win. He thanked us for working so hard and wished us luck in the rest of the season before yelling congratulations one more time and heading home. Happy Friday and much love,. Kohawk Talk- Ryan: April 2013
http://kohawktalk-ryan.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 25, 2013. All of us, with our free sunglasses! Coe College has some pretty awesome traditions, but in my opinion our best tradition is one that happens once every spring semester; Flunk Day. Flunk day is a day on campus where our president rewards us for all of the hard work we have put in throughout the year, and suprises us by cancelling classes for a whole day! This years flunk day came on the first really nice day of the year, and it was beautiful outside! Sunday, April 21, 2013.
