Get me outta here! The Caterpillar's Tooth. Embracing Life in Medias Res. Characters You Might Encounter Here. Characters You Might Encounter Here. The list of folks mentioned here is pretty short, but I’ll share it so you have an idea of who’s who:. My twin sister. She’s one of my best friends, a constant encouragement to me in life, and teaches me to be curious. If I mention “my sister” and don’t clarify which one, I’m referring to Miss A. Are pretty obvious and they’re two of my favorite people&...

A Glass Slipper Exchanged for a Hiking Boot | The Caterpillar's Tooth

Get me outta here! The Caterpillar's Tooth. Embracing Life in Medias Res. Characters You Might Encounter Here. A Glass Slipper Exchanged for a Hiking Boot. April 22, 2015. If I lived in a fairy tale, I would most certainly be found beside a campfire, near the ashes and soot, and I would be called Tinderella. My glass slipper would have morphed into a hiking boot, my carriage a Conservation van, and my godmother would be a vision in her hunter green button-up with brown shoes and khakis. You are commentin...

Hello Again! | The Caterpillar's Tooth
https://caterpillartooth.wordpress.com/2012/12/27/hello-again
Get me outta here! The Caterpillar's Tooth. Embracing Life in Medias Res. Characters You Might Encounter Here. December 27, 2012. Golly, it’s been a long time! From time to time, I’ve thought of returning to this place, but it really never occurred to me that I might actually type something here. And there is so much to talk about, so much I would have loved to have discussed and never did! So many firsts and difficulties of living on my own, small things, mostly, but new and exciting all the same! I wou...

Get me outta here! The Caterpillar's Tooth. Embracing Life in Medias Res. Characters You Might Encounter Here. September 15, 2013. It’s been awhile since I last wrote and I feel like I’ve lost touch with so many of my blogging friends in my absence. Not that this is a particularly well-trodden bit of Internet space, but I’ve had some good exchanges with my fellow writers here. Well, we are in the transition between late summer and early autumn, my very favorite time of year! October 6, 2013 at 8:56 pm.

Bringing the Outdoors in for Christmas | The Caterpillar's Tooth

Get me outta here! The Caterpillar's Tooth. Embracing Life in Medias Res. Characters You Might Encounter Here. Bringing the Outdoors in for Christmas. December 7, 2013. I got my first Christmas tree today! Not the some-assembly-required kind, either. This is a 100% honest-to-goodness. Christmas tree. I found my way to a nearby garden center that offers a few and picked out a shapely, 6-foot-tall Balsam fir from Ontario, Canada. So I’m sort of supporting a local business, right? I say it counts. Enter you...

Eager Hands: February 2012

The Fresh Apparel Story. February 27, 2012. This, my friends, anybody. Can do. for reals. It took like 15 minutes and zero skills. From your denim scraps, lay two pieces of denim wrong-sides together and cut into star/flower shapes. I just used a simple shape I printed off the internet. Narrowish zigzag around the edges- just leave your needle in at the corners, lift your presser foot, turn the corner, and put your presser foot back down. Easiest trick in the book! And the best part? February 26, 2012.

In the Library: About the Authors
http://insidethelibrary.blogspot.com/p/about-authors.html
I'm a chronic bookworm. I come by it naturally, some people collect figurines, my family collects books. I love everything from A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh. To Charles Dicken's Bleak House. I'm studying education/english as well as writing for children. Someday I'd love to be an English teacher, run my own private library, and write children's literature. I blog at Life with Abibliophobia. And post stuff about my own writing at The Swirl of Words. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 5: A waste of time. Picture ...
